George Pitcher received his A.S. in Dental Technology in 1980. He gained experience working for labs of all different sizes. Later in his career, he worked as an in-house technician where he gained valuable insight into what constitutes successful removable treatment. George graduated from Fordham University in 1973. He has worked with and learned from some of the top technicians in the country.
George has taken many master courses on hybrid, overdentures and full dentures, and is recognized as one of the top denture lab technicians in the country. George is also an active educator and conducts numerous seminars, classes and continuing education courses pertaining to dentures and overdentures.
George’s approach to denture craftsmanship is paying close attention to detail, being worn for many years, so it must be done correctly. In order to stay current with the latest technologies and practices, George additionally takes regular continuing education classes.
Working in a dental office, and not just the lab has given George a unique and intimate perspective of the needs of the patients and challenges that the dentist may be presented with. George has been in the lab for 36 years, and a dental office for 4 of those years.
